Front Solid Axle Bearing Replacment

HEY YALL!!!! Im going to be setting up my account very very soon! I have a question tho that needs attention. I am replaceing the front bearings on my 86 runner that has a Solid Axle. This isnt my first time doing bearing so i kinda know the procedure. Im stuck at the Lock ring, or Snap ring, the pice that holds it all in there, after getting the cover off. Normally these have a gap or holes for snap ring pliers or its a spring with prongs to grab.... Im seeing nothing like this to expand the snap ring to get it off. It seems as tho its a solid ring/washer with teeth.... im at a loss. Any tips would be loved!

Look harder. The gap is there.
