Hi ALL

I can't understand how much pinion spline count 23 or 27 on front diff. of 4Runner 96-2002? Who is exactly knows? and why some manufacturer writes 23 and 27?
Sorry for my bad English.

 

3rd gen 4runners are 27 splines, 7.5" high pinion diff with reverse-cut gears. I can't say for sure if the overseas models are the same though.

 

Strange but Jeremy from justdifferentials.com sayes that 23 splines on all 7,5".
Motive gears and Nitro Gears sayes 23 spline. But Yukon Gers&Axle sayes 27.

Well, the more I look into it they're 27 spline axles, but they might be a 23 spline pinion. I'm looking through the boxes my gear sets came in but can't find any data. Hopefully someone can answer for sure.

 

So nobody don't knows?
