front diff. drain plug!!!!!

ok well iam new here guys! so here goes!

ok well i have a allen head drain plug that is smooth all around the outside from Trail-Gear! i have had a problem with them coming loose from rocks on the trail! i actually ripped one out this past weekend! has anyone shaved theres off? if so did u relocate it or just do away with it? the truck is not used all the time it is trailered where it goes so i as gonna shaved it off and do away with it! i dont go threw mudd or water! what do u guys think??? just a little insight would help! thanks guys!

just make some armor for your diff so rocks cant get to the bolt. Ive heard of drain bolts coming loose, definantly not anything new.

Just weld a small tack, when you need to change the oil you can then break it.

Grinding over rocks. Once the first rock grabs hold and spins it some, they come out really easy.

The solution is to weld the drain plugs in place. Then replace the bottom two third member studs with bolts. To drain the oil, just remove these two bolts.
