Front cab mount issues

I purchased a rolled 1982 4x4 that needed a new body. I was able to locate and purchase a 1981 2 wheel drive truck body, which is now installed, except the front cab mounts. I knew there was a difference before purchasing the replacement body, but was told I just needed to take the front mounts off of the 4x4 cab. However, they are damaged due to the wreck or I was told incorrectly. Does anyone know what the fix is for this issue? New to site and appreciate any help in advance.

Very light on the details, which doesn't make me want to go through factory service manuals to find the frame dimensions sections...

As with most metal things the phrase "Heat it and beat it!" Is going to apply here. Figure out where it's supposed to be and what it's supposed to look like, then make it happen with some elbow grease.

Thank you. I was at that point last night, before posting, but then remembered reading something on here months ago about the mounts being used. That post, which I can't find, led me to looking for a 2 wheel drive body.
