trade and if you don't like it you can find parts to bring back the stock height from parted out trucks for really cheap

And you will probably have to lengthen the drive shafts because you're dropping the differential down 4 inches further than stock.

There may be enough slip in the shafts, I don't know, but don't be surprised if there's not...

You could always ask the guy you're getting the lift from if he did anything with the driveshafts.

Seems like a lot of work to take both suspension parts out of both trucks, and put them both back in - then if you don't like the lift and plan on changing it out again, more work. You should just get something you know you're going to like and do it right the first time, spend the extra time you got oh'n and ah'n and wheel'n instead.

Why would you need to trade? Why can't he just give you the brackets? Isn't that all it is is a couple of brackets and a couple spindles? Why not just help him pull them off and get them for free?

There is cutting involved in a 4" bracket lift.
The mount for the front diff on a stock height truck will be in the way
once you drop the diff, meaning it has to be cut. Other than that,
I don't see it being a problem. It will surely be a pain, but it can be done.

hey yall i put i 4 inch bracket lift on my 94 yota and there was no cuttin. there oughtta not be no swappin to it. it oughtta just be him givin you the brackets. all he has to do is pull the brackets off and put it back to stock. i did not have to change anything for the driveline. the drive shaft and steering line worked out fine. i also have the 3 inch body as well. it worked out great. i have the 3.slow and im opretty happy with the lift and tires. i put 36 tsl on it. although, i only touch mud, no rocks. somethin to consider before liftin the ifs.
