Frame rust should I buy or run away.

Hello all,
I am looking at this 2004 4runner that has a blown tranny so the seller is giving me a great deal; however, when I went to check the car out, there was more rust than I expected.
I attached pictures of the frame it is by the rear wheels. I would love to know your input on if this is something that can be fixed or should I run away.
I located a tranny and know someone that can install it for me and it'll still be cheaper than a 3rd gen.
If it is fixable, what range would it be? 500-1000, more or less? (it is worse in real life than pictures)
Thanks in advance.

Plan for extensive frame repairs or a new frame if you want that back on the road.
