i have '85 pickup and the frame is bad, surprise right. I'm tired of patching frames on these old trucks just to find another rust spot a few months later. I bought this truck with intentions of making it a trail rig, because its a toy right? Alright i cannot find a donor truck that is decent in my area(around York,PA). Can i get a frame that is NEW or can anybody help me out around here?

 

wish i could help, this guy has a bare frame from an 85 for 50.00, dont know how you would get it there or how much it would cost but its the best i can do...good luck!

I am in the process of changing over my 87 IFS to an 85 solid front axle frame. I will be selling the 87 frame IFS.

The 87 frame has no rust. In 1991 the truck was placed in a barn where it sat for 12 years. I got it last years and just blow up the engine, so I’m gone to change the whole frame from a rolled 85 I pick up a few months ago.
