fan belt replacement

fan belt replacement

Can anyone tell me how and show me pictures on what bolts to loosen in order to change my fan belt? Very new at this, thanks for your help in advance.

Can you tell us what year, vehicle model, engine, etc.? We can give better responses with that info.

Sorry about lack of info. It is a 1989 Hi-Lux truck, 4wd, 4 cyl.

Thanks. Hit the search button for 22re belt replacement ans see what comes up. Even if the thread is for a timing chain replacement it may help you out. Hopefully, the 22RE gurus will chime in soon.

Which belts, alternator, p.s. pump, a/c ????

A/C and Power Steering are idler pulleys which are loosened to increase slack in the belt. The alternator is two bolts; one at the top and one at the bottom.
