Howdie!
Are you referring to the part in the middle of the valence? the area with ventilation slots? If so, I put mine there and they have held up nicely and were easy to wire up as there is a decent amount space to work with. I got some cheapo canadian tire lights for free so I just went with those for now. Seem to do the trick. Soon though I will be adding some hella 500's, for a bunch more light. I think a lot of people run the hella 500 because of price and quality(not a fact though hehe)
Good luck!

I run Cibie lighting. I had trouble seeing at night so I installed Cibie headlights and if you want auxiliary lights the Cibie "35" Airports. Both have a really good beam patterns and put the light where you need it.
