driveshaft ?
well I have moved my rear springs up front and now my driveshaft is to short. I went to the local steel supplier and they said they could not match up the same size driveshaft tube. the id seems to be about 2 7/16's. I have a drive shaft out of a jeep cherokee but the id is about 1/16 to small. what other driveshaft could I use to extend the yota shaft? the bone yards where I have checked seem to be scarce on yota 4x4's. would any of the toyota cars or 2 wd trucks work or maybe ford or chevy trucks (plenty of them)?

It's pretty hard to extend or re-tube your DS in a home shop unless you have some exceptional tools or skills.
I'd recommend finding a driveshaft shop for the work. I assume you already have a long travel spline on your front DS. If not, this re-tube would be the time to get one installed.
If you want to make one on your own, and save some coin, make a square DS from trailer hitch stock. They are burley, have tons of travel and easier to fab at home. The tolerances aren't as tight so it doesn't matter as much keeping everything exactly straight.
Probably run you under $25 if you have U-Joints already.
