DP Diaphragm Air Filter? Where to buy?

DP Diaphragm Air Filter? Where to buy?
I noticed the DP Diaphragm on my 88 22re has an open port, and after searching around I've come to realize their should be a small air filter attached. Does autozone or napa sell these or where should I go? Is it even necessary? Thanks

Apparently it's called a VTV, but same question, where can I buy one? Can't seem to find any online.
