hello everyone & happy new year to all.... ok so I was on youtube just lookin at yotas & came across this video my question is what is that hose that he shows at 1:48 to 2:30, what is it for what does it do and does it go to something. I noticed this hose on my truck before and just never thought twice about it till i saw this vid.....thanx

That hose looks like the hose that comes off the bottom of the charcole canister.

 

damm wish it wasn't dark here... now its got me thinking.....

 

Thats exactly what the hose is .

 

that hose is for the ac idle up

 

ok if it comes out the bottom of the charcole canister then is it a vent or does it go to something.....do you see the other hose he points to in the vid its the metal tube what is that, my guess is that its for the ac when you see water under your car thats where it came from....

 

The hose comming off the bottom of the charcole canister doesn`t go to anything, its just a vent hose. I have no idea what the metal tube he is pointing is for.
