Differential Gearing with W55

Hey all, does anybody know the differential gearing that accompanied trucks from the factory with a W55?
I have the W55 in my truck already with my factory 3.07 gearing.. It is drastically under powered with an incredibly high first gear. I have a solid front axle that will eventually be used in a SAS for my 2wd but in the meantime I have pulled the 3.90 differential out and intend to use it with the W55 until the SAS progresses more.

Thanks!

Is it a W56?
What size tires you trying to run?
Factory gear ratio is only going to help you with factory sized tires.

More info? Glad to help..

Definitely
2wd W55
factory sized tires for a 2wd. That's why I want to know what gearing the W55 came with from the factory. But I think the 2wd W56 is identical to the W55 (except for the first and second gears, which are lower in the W55).
Eventually upgrades will occur, but for now I just want it to drive well/properly.
Just want to make sure that I won't make it worse by putting the 3.90 over the 3.07
Thanks!
