Diagnostic help
Hello
I have recently bought a 1997 hilux here in chile with the 22re engine. I have trouble startin in the morning or after a Long period of time. The engine light is on but does go out sometimes while driving.
I followed the instructions to get a diagnostic but am struggling to understand it. Any help would be much appreciated. Here is a video of the light.

Welcome to YT. Toyota stopped selling 22re here long ago. Link won't play for me. Otherwise would be happy to try to help, no promises as I imagine Toyota has changed some thing since my '86 came out.

Toyota could have sold the 22re in many countries for many years even after they stopped production in the u.s. Could be your cold start injector clogged. Find a manual for a 22re and look how to test the cold start injector. Dont forget to search. Then search some more.
