Crossover steering with moving axle foward?

Crossover steering with moving axle foward?
I have a 84 runner with 7inch lift all spring on 35's. I have a real bad rubbing promblem on the fenders and just a little on the firewall. The firewall I'm gonna smash in flat with a sledge. To help with the fenders I wanted to move the axle foward an inch. But I have been wating to do a crossover steering kit on it. My promblem lays on allpro's website on the plates for moving the axle it says not recommended for axles with cross over steering cause it may cause the tie rod to bind on the spring. Just wanted to know if anyone has moved thier axle foward with a crossover steering kit and if they ran into any promblems.
One more, How big of a difference is the crossover to stock with lift and tires?

Just about every truck you find cross over steering on has the front axle moved forward due to the lift, 1.5-2", just about every lift kit does this, AP, Marlin, Sky, Trail Gear etc.
Stock steering is pathetic compared to crossover steering with an IFS box.

So I should have nothing to worry about? Allprooffroad says that thier kit puts the tie rod on top of the spring as if it's a new design. I've never physically seen a solid axle with the crossover on it so I don't know whats good, bad right or wrong. Thanks for the help,Greatly appreciated.
I was looking at Trail gears as well. I just painted the rear bumper I got from them today. It looks freaking awesome I'll be putting it on tommorow.
