crankshaft position sensor

crankshaft position sensor

I have a 1990 3.0L 3VZE engine and i need to know were is the crankshaft position sensor located. i have no spark from the coil.
can someone give me advice

Try the factory Service manual for your year...

correct me if im wrong, but i beleve the CPS is actually part of the distributor. its deffinitly not like 5vz witch has the reader on the crank-pully, so ya im almost sure its apart of the dizzy

That is correct! Replace this when you replace the plugs and wires as well!

That is correct! Replace this when you replace the plugs and wires as well!

have an 89 3.0 with possible bad CPS. Following these comments above, is the CPS on the crank pully?
