Convert grille 86' to 80'-83'

I am a huge fan of the early 80's yota pickup front (grille and headlights) look, with the round head lights and the more rugged look the early 80's pickups offered, I have a 86' 4x4 yota and my question is can I convert that front (grille and headlights) to resemble a early 80's yota?

I don't have a definitive answer for you, but do have some advice. 79-83 was that body style. 79-81 had round headlights. 82 & 83 had a different grill and square headlights. So if you want round, 79-81 is what you're looking for. I swapped my 83 squares for round. Had to to get the grill, headlights, headlight buckets. Even on my truck with the same body style, there was a little modification needed. Your best bet is to find the grill/headlights/headlight buckets you want, and see if they fit. My guess is that with some modification, you can make it happen. If not, you should have no problem selling them again.

So in all actuality the conversion can be done?! I spoke with a guy earlier today that said he would sell me the grille and head light buckets off a 81 for around 50 bucks, but how much in depth is the sheet metal work gonna be?
