Confused on cylinder #/misfire codes

Hi,

1998 Tacoma 3.4L

I can't find any info on the cylinder numbering in the FSM and some of the info I found on search here seems to conflict with what is printed on the wires and the PO304 code.

Regardless, my misfire code is PO304. My shop manual says this is cyl # 3 (1996 shop manual).

Which cylinder is # 3?

Also, I just read many of the misfire threads here and I have done every test on the ignition system, compression test, etc. etc. I could think of using the FSM. I'm pretty much down to injectors but it looks like you can reach the passenger side injectors with an ohm meter w/o removing the intake. This is why I would like to know the cylinder #.

Thanks
