Clutch Pedal issue

Hey folks, new to the forum looking through it though it looks great. I have a quick question to ask I have a 1999 4runner I replaced the clutch slave cylinder on it last week bleed it and it seems fine for me when I drive it. I dont push the pedal all the way to the floor though only have way tell I feel it engage. The problem Im having is when my girlfriend drives it she goes all the way to the floor with the pedal while shifting. Thus causing the foot pedal not to release, causing her to use her foot to bring the pedal up. Any ideas why this is happening? is it worn out bushings in the linkage maybe? is this a simple fix ? or do I need to take it to a shop I have some good experince in wrenchin just new to working on the toyotas.
thanks for the input.

Get a new girlfriend

Did it do this before replacing the slave cylinder?

Yes it did. When I replaced the slave cylinder I noticed brake fluid all over the bell housing and slave cylinder itself.

Need to crawl under the dash and look at the bracket supports for the clutch pedal. They have a history of cracking. So maybe the full push is causing a hangup.
