Classic Saggy 4Runner

Howdy folks, I'm brand new to all this, so if this is the wrong place to ask this question I appologize.

Anyway, I just bought a 95 Runner 4x4, 166k and it is just beginning to suffer the saggy rear end syndrome. What is the suggested fix besides, new stock springs? I will be using the truck as a daily driver, but with each necessary replacement I want to upgrade with more off road capable parts.

Is there a leaf spring conversion? Is it worth it? Or are coils ok? What brands and sizes do you all suggest? I'm not looking for a lift, just to get it back to normal and make it a little more dirt worthy.

Thanks

I just put in new springs, not quite sure of what type as I was new to all of this before I found yotatech. It leveled out my rig nice. Lifted the back end sag about 3".

If your truck is not lifted and you have no intentions of doing so you can put Performance Products springs on for about $150 bucks. They'll give you a slight lift in the rear over stock but won't sag like the originals. If you plan on lifting your rig or it is lifted then your looking at a whole different ball o'wax.

Welcome, OME, Bilstien and PP's are the most popular. Do a search on each and you should get your answer.

i did the allpro offroad springs. i think they were $150. They leveled it out perfectly, plus they are heavy duty. I didn't feel any difference in the ride. When i throw stuff back there and tow my jet skis, you can barely tell the sag, its great. you will not be dissapointed with those. keep in mind for a few days, the nose will be riding lower until they set in. depends on how much you drive and throw in the back.
