Red face Brake pad ??

Well I ordered brake pads from Napa they sent ones different then what I wanted.

I am not sure if the sales person was not paying attention.Perhaps picked wrong??

They sent Ceramic pads rather then organic pads I had specified the Organic pads.

Should I just put these on ??

send them back and get the correct ones?

I tried to search about threads to compare the two but had no luck.

Thanks

Never used anything but OEM Toyota on mine, so neither.

Red face

Well that is a interesting story in itself.

Seems we got a new guy in the parts department .

The last one was commuting from over a hour away . Fuel costs were just getting to much so he moved on one of the few to leave on good terms.

The manager was on a well earned vacation .

The new guy perhaps needs some time to adjust or a attitude adjustment time will tell. Besides we all know good help is hard to find.

Right now he has the attitude don`t bother me with parts I have to make an effort to look up. I was told the parts in question Rotors and Pads have been discontinued

Thinking ok because of all the issues over the last few years maybe Toyota is going leaner in the parts area. After all by law 10 years is the time for parts support.

So thinking that Toyota parts were not a option I went with Napa who seem to have better access to Toyota parts.

I suppose the other option after being told Wow that is really old . Is to perhaps part out the 2000 Tacoma.
