Bigger Tires: 305/75r16 on 3rd gen?

Bigger Tires: 305/75r16 on 3rd gen?

I want to stick bigger tires under my 4runner I have 285/75R16 tires now and am running the ss 7:1 lift kit right now I want to run 305/75r16 tires should I get a bobdy lift and if one how hi or will they fit as it sits now

Why not spend money on lockers, armor, and to re-gear?

Because he wants bigger tires. If he wanted info on lockers, gears or armor he probably would have asked.

Jumping up to that is going to involve a bit more than tossing some bigger meats on there. I think Bamachem was running a 1" BL when he had his 305s but I am pretty sure he was running the LC coils in the rear and 4.5" backspaced LX450 wheels. What wheels are you running? OEM 16x7s?

From: raleigh, nc for school chapel hill, nc for home
I assume you meant 315/75/16's .... 305/70/16's are 33x12.50x16 roughly, so just wider than a 285
