ball joint spacer height vs actual lift

Looking around I see that ball joint spacers can come in various height. I would like to add approx 1\2 to 3\4in to the front. So does a 1\2 in spacer give 1\2in in lift or is it an approx and vice versa for a 3\4in.

At what point in additional lift on a stock front end does one start running into extreme halfshaft angle issues.

If it's a 1/2" ball joint spacer, you'll get 1/2" of lift.

Now, the largest ball joint spacer I've seen is 1.5". If the company is selling say a 2.5" ball joint spacer lift, it is a 1.5" ball joint spacer and you have to crank the torsion bars to get the other 1". 1.5" is basically the tallest spacer before you run into CV troubles.

If you're only planning on a 1/2" or 3/4" spacer, don't even bother with a diff drop. I don't even know a place other than 4Crawler that sells less than a 1.5" spacer.

4crawler will do custom 1/2 or 3/4 in, just have to special order them.. One of the purposes for the customs according to their website was they mainly make the custom sizes to piggyback on the 1.5's so one could get more than 1.5in without cranking the T bars.

Was looking for just a little bit of lift on the front because the rear has some additional leafs and wanted to get it a little more level.
