back spacing SOO CONFUSING !!!

Ok I have 34x10.50x15 swampers I want to go to a 15x8 wheel but im not sure what back spacing to get . my truck is a 1985 solid axle and has a 4'' lift . I want the stance to be a little wider and I want the tires out as much as possible with out being too far out a looking silly . I keep leaning towards 3.5'' bakc spacing but im not sure I think I over thinkin it until i get confused .lol. I hope someone here has 15x8 wheels with 3.5'' back spacing they could post a pic of . so i could get an idea of what im looking at . thanks guys

Stock back spacing:

How back spacing is measured:

How it affects track (width):

And a picture of the back spacing on a factory 15x6-JJ rim:

You'll likely want less backspacing that stock to keep the tires off the springs at full lock, but check your current wheel/tire clearance at the springs and adjust for the new wheel/tire size.
