Accelerates hard up hill is this normal?

I have 1990 toyota pickup that accelerateds hard up hills is this normal

Not sure what you mean, but most people with a '90 yota would love to have that problem. What engine? Can you explain the issue more?

3.0 v6 when going up hills it shioifts into 1st snaps your neck back

my 3.0 auto SUCKED up slight inclines, non the less a full fledged hill.

Take that engine out and send it to the Smithsonian, its an anomaly. Then send truck carcass to me.

Ok, on a serious note. Does the engine sound funny? Does it shift back normally after its done? How much skinny pedal? O/D on? Off?

In all other ways, does your engine run (as best as the 3.0 can) properly?

it shifts back to normal after it i never owned a toyota pickup before was just wandering not floored when it does it
