94 rear suspension upgrade - questions
Ok, lets start by saying my 4runner (misty) has a moderate amount of cancer. One door already replaced (couldn't match color) and prob going to do the others soon. Rear wells are a little body rusty buT I love this old girl.
313,000 KM
so I went out and bought a set of OME 900 springs($270) And have rancho 5000 ($200) arriving at the shop today at 3pm. (Drop in oil price has lowered the Canadian $$ and killing us for parts from the states)
I have everything I need to do the swap over and have sprayed penetrating lube on the nuts a few days ago and will again after finishing this post.
My questions are:
1) do I require spring compressors for the swap?
2) will I need to do any fine tuning of the rear before I can drive distance or highway speeds?
I have looked around extensively for these answers but haven't been able to it figure out. Think that's all the questions I have right now.
