94 22RE maintenance recommendations

I am new to the site and have a few toyotat 4x4s. I purchased a 94 Std cab/sb 4x4 a couple months ago with 166K on it. It appears the front cover has been off and am "assuming" the chain has been replaced. My question is what is recommended maintance with 166K? I have done the normal tune up items but what else to reduce future failures?

Just because it looks like the timing cover was off means nothing .

That could have been 100,000 miles ago.

The common sense things hoses belts keep an eye on the frame for rust etc

electrical you might want to upgrade the grounds to a bigger size also the positive cable to the starter as well as the wire coming off the B terminal of the alternator to the fuse block.

Might want to check or change all the fluids in the rears transmission etc.

How are the brakes is it time to do them.I put all new brakes on

All depends on just how much you want to do.

This is what I do to a Toyota when it gets added to my fleet

Thanks for the response! I have done the usual tune up items, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, brakes, shocks, just want to make sure if there are any "time" or mileage replace items. It sounds like the timing chain and guides are the big one.

I would also add changing the fuel filter, and distributor cap and rotor.

All the regular tune up stuff
