As with every other older 4runner- In my 93' 4runner my rear coils are past their due and are a good couple of inches below level. I know its an easy fix and my plan is to get new springs (without breaking the bank) for the rear and then tightening the T-bars up front to get those about 1 1/2 inches taller and end up with a nice level ride that's a little bit taller. I'm 16 so i have just recently gotten into all of this car stuff, I was wondering if anyone could give me a link with a good site and the right Coils for my 93'. I was also wondering if in doing this i will need to get new shocks? I just replaced them about a year ago and i didn't think that a tiny bit of hight increase passed stock would be that big of a deal but don't really know for sure. I've been looking into some OME but there's just too many choices for a novice like me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would also suggest using balljoint spacers up front instead of cranking the torsions. It will ride MUCH better with the spacers instead of the torsion crank.

Yeah i looked at those and there seemed to be a few really similar models but the 900's sound the best? I'm not a hard core off roader, i'll go play around on logging roads and stuff but mostly i just want to get that back end up and hopefully give it a slight lift overall without buying a kit.
Are the BJ spacers easy to install? I'm open to any ideas the only reason i was going to go with cranking on the torsion bars was because thats what my buddy ran in his 94 when his started to sag and it seemed to get the job done but i could understand it being a less smooth ride. Will it all even out still with the Bj spacers?

You can look into LC coils. I ran them in the back of my runner and it provided 3-4" of lift with no weight in the back. They are pretty soft though. And for that you will need new shocks, a panhard drop bracket, and a longer rear brake line.
I have the coils and bracket im trying to get rid of if you are interested.
I have know a few people on here to get away with those coils in the back and bj spacers with a slight T bar crank up front to make it sit level.

So with all of that i'd be sitting with a 3-4 inch lift from stock or from the sag up? how much would you sell the coils for cause i would deffinatly be interested in a cheap way to lift it.Originally Posted by 904_runner

If you run the OME medium rate springs in the back of your truck, it will bring it nicely level without having to do anything to the front. They ride well, without being too harsh, but you're best off replacing the shocks at the same time. You shouldn't need to extend panhard brackets or brake lines with them.
