Cut the belt.

A/C deleted.

Unless of course it also drives something else. Then get a smaller belt...

Give us more specifics. What are you trying to accomplish? You are to cold? To much power taken up by compressor? Condenser causing overheating? A/C brings back hard childhood memories? What?

i have 6 windows for hot days and mine doesnt work anyways. i just didnt know if i would need an idler pulley from a 3.0 without ac or if there and how many vacuum lines in the bowl of spaghetti are associated to the ac system. I know i have an idle up diaphragm for the ac on my throttle body so i am gonna go ahead and say its not just cut the ol belt and get a smaller one. I was just looking to see if anyone had done a thread on it before. When i swapped add to manual hubs it was easy just researched everything i had to do didn't just fly blind.

So you just took the belt off took everything out and never had a problem? If so that's great was just hesitant to do it all if i was gonna run into a vacuum issue or something down the line

If you want to actually delete everything to clear up space, drop some weight/etc, Take of the belt, remove the compressor, condensor, drier and fan, chase all the vacuum lines from the condensor to the intake manifold, or where-ever they run, and cap them with vac nipples. Hope that helps!

I've never messed with a/c on yotas cuz I don't have it on mine and never was asked to look. But, in an a/c system there should be a a/c compressor clutch switch at the compressor that turns it on or off, you could unplug the wires and it be no problem, if it has it, which I'd guess it does

Thats what i was planning on. Getting rid of everything associated with the ac. Just didn't want to run into some sort of vacuum issue afterwards. Was just posting to see if it had been done before and if they had any problems

As Long as You cap Every Vaccum port associated, you won't have a single problem.

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking questions. Obviously Search first, but if you come up empty, there's no such thing as a wrong question.

Now it's on you to do a full write up on everything you did for your A/C delete. So the next noob can search and read what they need to do...

Good luck!!

Haha would do that But if its never been covered before than I'm guessing its never been an issue for anyone. Haha either they didn't have ac to begin with or their ac worked so the didnt mess with it.. i guess I'm the 1/1000000 that has it and it doesn't work

My truck had it but I removed it cause I like my Toy truck to be a truck. Grew up without A/C, only my wife's vehicle has it. I've never had a vehicle(other than spouses) that had operable A/C. So I always removed everything pertaining to A/C.

Well, I did have a couple of Audi TQ's that had it. But I never used it so it doesn't count....
