put a few more hamsters in each wheel. with a 37, you can fit about 100 of em.

if that doesn't work, step up to 5.71 gears, then look into a motor swap. drop in a 4.0 lexus v8!

search for the things i just mentioned in bold and you'll find a lot of info here on both mods.

in fact, this thread has great info:

Idk about a v8 and 5.71s haha

But in all seriousness, 5.29's or 5.71's will be the only way to get close to the stock power. Some people don't like 5.71's because they think they are "weak" but from what I've heard as long as they're set up properly they're just as strong as 5.29's.

Don't waste your money on engine "performance" mods. They don't work on Toyotas unless you have a super charged 3.4.

i 2nd the tornado. you wouldn't believe the power gain you'd get from it. it's just an excellent product all around, can't really go wrong with the tornado.

EDIT: forgot to mention i've had one in every one of my vehicle so far.

Do some searching and see what others have done as far as intake mods. You turely wont get a "cold air" system. If you really want that look into swapping the intake and battery. Keep in mind that the 22re isnt the most powerful engine out there. Gearing will be your biggest help.

Swapping the position of the air intake and battery. This way it is not pulling air over the top of the radiator. I have seen a few on here do it. Just a thought.

As far as your gears are concerned....I am not the man to ask. I am sure that someone will chime in.

If you go 5.71's which would be best for the 37's look to zok to set them up he's the best I have seen or heard of gearinstall.com I believe he sells gearing as well.
He also is a member here and if you use the search button look for zuk I am sure you will find post's from him explaining how he tested 5.71 vs. 5.29 and concludes how they both hold up and how they both last ect.

Heres some tips...

-Spell Check, worked for me..

-Searching

-If you don't know what parts to get, you don't even need to THINK about buying ANYTHING.

-Read until you understand

Seems like we spoon feed people around here.. Can someone do a writeup on searching and make EVERY newbie read it before they can even post? and then an Insta-Ban if they dont..

IF you have 37's and want more power, obviously get gears, if you have a Toyota with a 4 cylinder and want power, you got the wrong vehicle dude, them engines came outta friggin fork lifts..
