87 Ac Help

Ac/Heater there not a lot of cool air coming out of the vents , replaced the resistor on the blower motor and it has the speeds just like something blocking the air from coming out or the blower motor is really week it. and sometimes it feels like there hot air coming out as well? truck has 362K miles on it. confused on also does the selector have to be set on Bi level or vent while the ac is on this is the style of HVAC controls i have.

First thing, you need to confirm that the heat/vent controls are actually moving the air doors as intended.

It might come to that, but first look behind the glove box at the heater/AC box and ducting, I'm pretty sure you can see the lower terminations of at least a couple of the air blend cables. You ought to be able to see if those door actuators move when you move the controls. You can also see if the heater temp cable moves the hot water valve on the firewall, under the hood. A factory service manual would be helpful to you.
