86 arb going into a 85 4runner Front
I have an 85 4 runner I was give an 86 rear arb can I use the arb in the front of my 85 4runner? If so what do I need to do?Thanks

If you are talking an 8 inch rear housing from the 86 into the front 8 inch housing of the 85 straight axle, yes they will fit. The 85 uses the same third member front and rear that came in the rear of your 86.
You can take the entire third member and swap it into the front, as long as the gear ratio matches front and rear.
