86 2wd to 80 4wd engine/trans swap?

86 2wd to 80 4wd engine/trans swap?
I have an 86 longbed 2wd yoda and I want to know if I can swap that engine and trans into a 80 longbed 4wd. Any modifications needed? Any info and help will be greatly appreciated! TIA

So you are going to convert your 1980 4WD into 2wd? Why?
You will need to change tranny mounts (if using the 2WD trans), and oil pan at the very least. The 2wd oil pan is different from the 4wd, and will hit the axle.
