85 4runner front leaf flip?

I was sitting on my front porch admiring my beautiful 4runner and began thinking about stuff. My thoughts were to flip the bottom two leafs in each front spring pack to get an inch or so of height out of my ride, has this been atempted before? any success? any thoughts? would this not work?

well friend don't do it, i tried today and when you pull out the leaf it has a positive arc already so flipping them will only make it softer and lower. best bet is to get a donor leaf from the junk yard that has a lot of arc to it and put it in with the rest.
