Hello I’m in the middle of replacing a 5vz in my 96 t100, and I’m a little stuck.

my old passenger side manifold is just about split in 2 and drivers side snapped 2 studs off and are seized in there.
my new 5vz came out of a 2001 4Runner so the manifolds are different and the manifolds have to go with the crossover. I have the 01 manifold and crossover but the wrecking yard cut the downpipe.

so my question is will a 2000 and newer downpipe line up with the older exhaust system?

i feel like this would be the easiest and fastest way, rather than buying 2 new manifolds, just get the newer 01 downpipe

 

Newer style 5vz crossover and chopped downpipe on top, and early 5vz crossover and downpipe on bottom

so im more than likely gonna chop my old downpipe at the collector and weld it into the newer style downpipe

 

so i finally got to cutting and welding today, been a little hectic lately so i had to get it done on my half hour lunch break at work, not the best welds but it looks like it lines up perfect, for not welding it in place and bolted up.
