4x4, '83r VS '85re oil pans?

Noticed the oil pan in my '83 22r 4x4 is badly dented and the drain plug hole has been repaired, so I went to get the oil pan off my '85 22re 4x4 parts truck to swap it, but they're different. Also I was able to get the '85 out with no problem, I'll need to Jack up the '83 to get more clearance to get it out of there. My springs on the '83 are sagging slightly which could account for the oil pan not coming out easily, as it's resting on the front axle. My question is will the '85 oil pan work alright without hitting the axle? It hangs lower, mainly in the back on the sump that looks like it might miss the axle entirely. I was surprised they weren't the same. Is that axle to engine forward to back placement the same between these models, does the engine sit higher up in an '85?

I know I could just swap them and see for myself, but I'm going to swap the front end and springs between the two trucks too.
