3.0 motor swap

3.0 motor swap
I have a 95 toyota truck with a 3.0 v-6 3vze engine with an automatic transmission. I wanted to put a 4.3L in it but I called advanced adaptors and they don't have an adaptor that bolts to that motor. I can get a transmission from the 4.3L but then they say I have to get a transfer case from a standard then they have an adaptor for that. Is there a non-toyota motor that will bolt to my transmission or one the I can get an adaptor for?
thanks

From: Nashville TN. I can help you if you're close BUT NOBODY CAN HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T FILL YOUR LOCATION IN!
No. Well actually, a 22R... 5, 6 & 7MG... 3.0 or 3.4 only...
And if AA doesn't have it... That's b/c nobody would buy it.
Someone used to make an adapter for it, but you'd have a better chance winning the lottery than finding that BH for sale...

well what my intentions are is to eventually end up with a solid front axle swap and maybe run 40's to 44 class tires. I guess my initial thought was more horsepower would make turning them easier but might be able to accomplish the same thing with gears to make it easier on the motor and transmission. was thinking 3/4 ton running gear from a chevy for the base.

man, i am in the exact same boat. im runnin 40s right now with a solid axle up front fixin to go up to 44s. i just rebuilt my tranny and case and dont want to jus throw it out and theres no way imma get what i put into it. im trying to find out if you can swap bellhousings to where the tranny will bolt to the 3.4 but no answers yet. if you dont mind, let me know what you end up doin because im lost on this.

well it's a double edge sword i guess, I'm glad I'm not alone but hate you're in it with me.I'm guessing the manual transfer case is shorter than the automatic. I may end up swapping transfer cases and go with a 350 and th350 transmission or a 4le80 out of a newer chevy. still looking around for possible swaps with my parts so i don't have to eat them all. Will keep you up with my findings. is your tranny holding up ok so far?
