2nd gen r150 into 1st gen

I live in Nashville and am doing the 5vz swap soon (hopefully march) So I am in the hunt for parts. I have a 88' with a 3.0 and an auto. Going for the 3.4 ~5speeds setup. My issue is I can't find a 1st gen donor, but there are a few 2nd gens around town. So my question: I know the R150 and transfer case are the same 1st to 2nd gen. Are there any drive shaft length differences? And for a cross member I am assuming they are different too? Any input for a newbie would be appreciated.
