22R-E Compatability

I am new to this forum, I have searched far and wide, high and low and cannot seem to find the answer I need.

What year 22R/22R-E motors will 1st Gen EFI Setups off of Trucks/4Runners bolt onto? Can the EFI bolt onto a 85 Celica 22R-E? Can the EFI bolt onto late 83-84 22R from Trucks? How about the 22R from the 82-84 Celicas? Sorry if its not clear or sounds frustrating, because it is unclear and very frustrating. Thanks a million guys!!

The 83 and 84 Celica Fuel injected parts are almost a bolt on. The 22R was redesigned a bit for 85.

The 81-84 22r blocks are the same, the difference is in the head. I'm pretty sure that the intake ports on the 22RE are either circle or pear shaped as opposed to the 22R intake ports that are square. If you swap either way, the head and intake need to go together unless you buy the adapter that will mate the head of your block to the head of your choosing.

edit: I'm a moron, any time you go carb to EFI or vice versa, the intake goes with it...LOL
