Hi guys. I'm pulling my hair out over this 03 tacoma I bought. It had 90k on it when I bought it. Found out it was burning alot of oil so, I took it to a toyota guy. They said the engine should be rebuilt. So $5100 later... after new clutch and rebuild with all toyota parts. This thing is still smoking randomly on take off and startup. Could this guy have missed something?? Thanks in advance for replies.

 

Sounds like possibly a valve seal is leaking/loose.
