1990 2nd Gen

Hello Yotatech people. I've been on and off here for a while. I personally have a '98 4runner li is mited. Bought it new with 200 miles, 15 yrs later, I still drive it every day even after a front end with a stupid kid who pulled out in front of me at a stop light. The Ford Explorer I hit rolled over on its side. My baby, well, after the body shop, is ok. never will be the same. Idles differently, has a lump in the idle and never has before.
I guess the good news if any was that the 4runner I got my son is somewhat special to him. I've replaced the engine once, then had to do the heads on the 2nd engine. so has not been cheap for old dad!!!!!
I got him generic half shafts from O'Really's auto.
He had them replaced today at his local shop. They were astounded for it was such a low production number on the vin!!
The kid has #53 of the 2nd gen run!!!! IN '89. I am amazed and happy. Guess I'll keep $$ FIXING IT if only for that reason
