1986 toyoya 22r 4x4
I bought a DUI distributor. And the instructions mentioned that it could have a relay that changed the voltage from 12 volts to 8.5 volts and this needed to be removed before the distributor would work. Can anybody help me locate or give me a name for it?

Your sure the instructions said a Relay to change Voltage??
A relay does not change voltage
Our Toyota distributors run off 12VDC or system voltage at least in 86
