1984 front axel leaking

hi fellas. new here. tried the search engine and came up blank.
i bought a 1984 p/u to use this up coming trapping season. its been sitting for a couple months without being driven. i happen to see the big ball/socket on each end or the axels are leaking quite badly.
i'm not much of a mechanic but can usually do some things with proper instruction. i assume there is a seal somewhere in there??.is this a fairly easy fix or would you guys recommend taking it to a mechanic to fix?.
thanks for any info you gan give

Inner axle seal.
Knuckle rebuild kit is probably what you should do.

Plenty of write ups on it in addition to the FSM.

Might as well start learning now.

Its not hard to take everything apart and clean and throw it all back together. Just lay everything out in the order it was removed. Clean thoroughly, then reinstall with new seals and gaskets and grease. Its definitely worth doing since it can save you some major ($$) repairs down the road.

If you can do minor repairs on things, you can do this.
