$1000 4Runner

I have been looking for info on body swaps, engine replacement etc..... as my 95 2WD (COMPLETELY RUST FREE) had a blown HG and the garage wanted $2195 to replace so in my search for a new engine I came across a 91 4WD with a rebuilt from block up engine (with reciepts). I was hoping to swap bodies over but I don't have the time or space to do it and the body shop wants 3000-3500 for the job. Anyway I ended up tearing down and scrapping the 95 and have decided to keep the 91. So far I swapped over the front fenders as the 91 fenders were done. Thought I share a few photos, for $1000, I think I did pretty good. It needed two lower front ball joints and front rotors to safety.

Since purchasing I have put oem rear coils on it and shocks
9don't remeber the make) but they were es 5000's

Yeah, I looking forward to trying it out in the snow, we had more than usual last winter and I was stuck more times than I'd loke to admit. A friend had told me though that I'll want to swap out the 33x12.5 tires for my smaller 31x 10.5 in the snow, I can't see 2.5 inches making much of a difference but we'll see.
