between 20 and 30 mph. I am getting this weird humming virating sound. its not constnt. vrrrr......vrrrrr.....vrrrrr, like that. it speeds up and slows down according to my speed. but once Im past 30 mph it goes away.

Ive heard its the agressive tread on the tires, which i find hard to believe and also heard that it has something to do w\ the gear box.

Anyone have any news on what my prob. might be

U Joint??? I had a '91 with a bad u joint and though I can't remember the exact speed that it disappeared, that's just about the same symptoms it had.

 

Auto 4x4.

Could be tires or u-joint, the ones in my truck are bad. Does the truck seem to jump or bang a little when you go from coasting to throttle? Or neutral to drive?
