01 Tacoma and Amsoil AT fluid
Getting ready to change the fluid and filter in my 01 Taco with around 94K however wanted to ask a few questions;
1. Has anyone SWITCHED to Amsoil with this type of mileage on the vehicle?
2. Any problems with this that I should look for? I am flying without a shop manual however this looks straight forward.
Any help or advice is appreciated.

Not sure about your year Taco, but some of the last generation Tacos use the Type-IV fluid I think and not the Universal Tranny fluid that Amsoil has. I'm sure others will chime in to help you out further.

Went and had the ttrans flushed today since I found myself with some time however used standard trans fluid. It wasn't until afterward that I found out they did not do the filter at the same time.
Since they used standard anyway and I alreayd have a filter kit on order, when it comes in I will swap out the filter and top her off. Gives me more of a chance to look into the synthetic question.
