Im looking for a 3VZ 3.0L motor for a rebuild. Prefer it to be local so that I can pick it up. I know, I know... I've lost my mind wanting to do a build up on this one!

I've got one still in a wrecked Runner, but I'm nearly all the way across the country.

No sir, we're good in my neck of the woods, we were a little south of the big rain and wind, we got about a half inch of rain and winds were only about 25-30 mph. Thanks! heck I'd be up for a road trip, Got an uncle in Phoenix, I haven't saw him in about 8 years.

 

I have a rolled '92 4Runner with 162,000 miles on the clock 3-vz with 340H auto tranny. Running well when wrecked some years ago.

I was told that its engine had been changed out by the dealer complete, on the head gasket campaign, but I don't know at what mileage, so engine mileage is less than the 162,000.

I have been looking for the right inop truck or 4Runner to swap it into. I'm sure that you can find a suitable engine much closer to home.
