I am getting ready to retrofit an ac setup from an 87 22RE into my 84 22R pickup. I am trying to find all the AC Idle Up stuff that will be needed for this. Things like the AC Amplifier (if needed), Idle Up Valve (VSV) and any other small pieces that may be needed that would be different between the 22RE and 22R. I have or will have all the main components. Just mostly the vacuum and small electrical pieces I am trying to locate.

I need all the 22R pieces to make this thing work. If you have anything, just let me know.

I have an A/C amplifier from a early 87 pickup. I also have the small harness that goes with it but I'm not positive that it all works because I cant test it. It was working. I'm looking for the VSV too (mine went bad) and I think I found one from an 87 Camry that is the same except for the bracket. Later ones will work but you will have to have the harness plug.

Thanks for the offer. I was able to locate an amplifier and harness off an 85 model pickup that works. I am still trying to locate a VSV but no luck so far. I may have to look at the Camry as well in some local bone yards. I completed the retrofit and all was great for about two weeks and the compressor started squealing at low idle. The air is still good and cold at driving speed, but I am going to find a different compressor now to make it work properly again.
