What tools/gear to carry?

I'm trying to consolidate what I take with me when I go off road. Usually I end up with analysis paralysis and end up bringing everything. What do you guys carry or recommend as the essentials in case a repair is necessary? Again, I'm trying to consolidate, i.e. I don't want to brig the whole 1,000-piece socket set, the the ones that I'd need. I'm tired of dragging around a toolbox the size on a small icechest.

Any suggestions? Brands? Sizes? Other recommendations?

There have been at least three threads covering this in the past couple of years, so you might want to start building your list there

I realize this guys, thanks. I probably should've been clearer in my first post and specified if there were anything that the 4th gen Runner/GX470/2005+ Tacoma guys carry that are specific to these platforms and not the earlier-designed Toys.
