What stereo package is this?

My roomate just bought an 05 Tacoma Extended Cab SR5. We want to put an amp and sub in. Does this stereo have pre-amp outs?

Thanks y'all

pretty sure factory stereos dont have rca plugs you well need to buy a line output converter in order to add a amp to the factory stereo http://www.crutchfield.com/S-PYIN7NX...tput+converter

it's either the single disc or the 6-disc in dash unit.

in either case, I don't think they ahve pre-outs.

the double cab with the JBL system and subwoofer may have preouts on the back, to accomodate the factory amp for the sub.

Good luck.

pretty sure you have to treat it as a typical factory HU. You can still hook up an amp with some RCA's
